An insurance company with close to 100 locations was already an existing Verizon customer on a legacy TDM network, which couldn’t support it’s growing business needs and needed their contract reviewed and reworked.

Intelligent Bills teamed with the Verizon Enterprise Account Team and identified an ethernet-based network solution for current and future usage.  The new technology proposed offered a better delivery model, resulting in a more efficient workplace. Fewer calls were dropped, internet speeds were increased, and the customer was provided with a better user experience.

Strategy

  • Upgrade all technology.
  • Spoke to a variety of suppliers to scope out the project and price out the most comprehensive solution, keeping in mind the need for scalability.
  • RFI/RFP Type effort with various vendors, Comcast was scored and selected as the most dependable solution capable of meeting their adjustable bandwidth needs, but also based on its high service marks, top-of-the-line infrastructure, and dedicated channel team.
  • Recommending the 3-year term with Comcast, with the plan to aid in their expansion in the future.
