The Business
In 2019, we were engaged to perform an in-depth review of global travel organizations toll-free service bills, contracts, and inventory. The annual spend for toll-free service was nearly $500K.
The client had multiple vendors providing inbound service at a variety of price points and service configurations. The primary provider was approached to renew their contract by the client who negotiated a reduction in rates and fees by 18% for a 3-year term. The other vendors and volume were not impacted nor reviewed by the client. There was a total of 600+ TF numbers being impacted.

But that's not all!
Our approach with the client was to provide a comprehensive inbound solution and consolidation strategy with all providers at a reduced term commitment. We agreed that we would only share in annualized savings greater than what the client had negotiated with the primary incumbent, but all others entirely.
Upon client approval to move forward with our strategy, we issued a consolidated RFQ to three vendors. After providing benchmark data and competitive cost analysis to the vendors, we finalized the agreement with rates and terms that were beneficial to the client in the short and long term with one vendor. In addition, we managed the entire RESPORG change process with all vendors and implemented the conversion fully for the client.
