The company is a non-proﬁt healthcare organization in need of a new connectivity solution. As their patient-base and faculty continued to grow, so did their associated technology needs and their current solution was no longer meeting these needs.
The older, slower technology was being billed well over market value and included excessive usage fees. In addition, the carrier network frequently experienced service interruptions. After a full evaluation, we recommended that it was time to upgrade the customer’s technology and having worked with this customer for 10+ years, we were very familiar with their current locations and expansion plans. Scalability was a core decision factor for the client as bandwidth needs change quickly in their line of work based upon a variety of factors, including the number of patients and visitors on-site at any given time.

After an RFI/RFP type effort with various vendors, Comcast’s ﬁber was scored and selected as the most dependable solution capable of meeting their adjustable bandwidth needs but also based on its high service marks, top-of-the-line infrastructure, and dedicated channel team.
